Home/Services/YouTube channel audit

Work out why
the channel has stalled.

We review your videos, audience, titles, thumbnails and production process. You get a written diagnosis, changes to specific videos and a proposed slate to discuss with Rishwajeet.

What needs to change?

Bring us the channel and the question you cannot resolve. It might be why a successful video has been hard to repeat, why people click but leave, or what to make after a change in direction. We compare the releases and watch the videos before recommending more production.

Rishwajeet reviews the channel as both a strategist and a content operator: what viewers are being offered, what the videos deliver, and what the team can sustainably produce. Your existing editors and production team can stay in place. The outcome is a direction they can act on.

Five connected parts of the channel.

A hit can reveal the wrong next move.

In a July 2026 account of our work, a channel with a median of roughly 100 views had a video reach 7.7 lakh views. The obvious next idea was a sequel about the same industry. Rishwajeet instead read all 443 comments to understand what had travelled.

The response was about a broken promise: study hard, get the safe degree, and a secure career will follow. The creator had the experience to speak credibly about that anxiety. That combination became the basis of the next topic, about graduates struggling to find work. The follow-up reached 87K views in the published account.

September update: those three Roshan Kotla essays have now passed 975K views together: 791K, 93K and 91K. Read the full case, with the current video snapshots and our role.

Metrics need a viewing context.

A high click-through rate on a small, familiar audience can mean something different from a lower rate as a video reaches new people. We compare videos with attention to their age, format, traffic source and audience, then watch the content to understand what the comparison might mean.

YouTube explains that CTR varies with content, audience and the surface where an impression appears. Its guidance also notes that high CTR and average view duration can coexist with low impressions. Read YouTube’s explanation.

A diagnosis your team can use.

  • A written diagnosis with the priority problems and the evidence behind them.
  • A review of representative videos, including concrete changes to ideas, openings or packages.
  • A proposed direction for audiences, subjects and repeatable formats.
  • A prioritized next slate and tests that can confirm or challenge the diagnosis.
  • A review call with Rishwajeet and agreed responsibilities for the next phase.

We agree the review depth and material at the start. Authorized YouTube Analytics access or exports allow a deeper assessment. A public-only review is possible, with its conclusions limited to what is visible.

Take the diagnosis into production.

You can hand the plan to your own team, continue with content strategy and editorial reviews, or bring in our team for channel management. Where the constraint is repeated work or lost context, we can build the systems supporting the operation.

Questions about the work.

What does a YouTube channel audit include?

Audience and content diagnosis, review of topics and formats, titles and thumbnails, the viewing experience, and the production operation. We turn the findings into priorities, a proposed slate and concrete next tests.

Do you need access to YouTube Analytics?

Authorized access or exports help us assess audience, traffic and performance in context. We can also review public videos and packaging, while making the limits of that evidence clear.

Will you work with our existing team?

Yes. Rishwajeet can lead the audit and strategy while your writers, editors and producers execute the plan. We agree the briefs and review rhythm around your operation.

Does an audit guarantee growth?

An audit gives you a diagnosis and a plan to test. Results depend on the audience, ideas, execution and how the work develops after the review. We do not promise a specific number of views or subscribers.
