An idea worth watching.
A script that delivers it.
Machine House develops research and scripts for YouTube videos, expert-led essays and brand films for creators and brands in India. Work with Rishwajeet on the premise, the argument and the words your host will actually say, with source references and direction for the edit.
A small channel. Three consecutive hits.
Roshan Kotla’s channel had a median of around 100 views per video before its breakout. We helped turn his experience in software and hiring into ‘The Indian IT Dream is Dead’, then developed two further essays about graduate jobs and the middle-class career promise.
By 7 September 2026, the three films had reached 791K, 93K and 91K views. Machine House developed the research, thesis, outlines, scripts and packaging. Roshan brought his experience, stories and delivery. Those are results of the finished films, with all those contributions involved.

Bring the material you already have.
You may have a subject and no clear angle, an expert with years of experience, or a draft that keeps losing its thread. Each needs a different starting point.
- A topic: we research the subject and develop a premise specific enough to sustain a video. We agree what the viewer should understand by the end before expanding the outline.
- Expert notes or a conversation: we find the examples and claims the speaker can stand behind, then build a sequence a new viewer can follow.
- An existing script: we review the opening, information order, evidence and ending. The brief can cover a focused rewrite or a new structure.
The script needs to work on the shoot.
A sentence can read well and still be difficult to say. A statistic can be correct and still need a chart to make sense. We separate the spoken script from instructions for the host and editor so each person can find what they need.
- Premise and outline: the audience, central question, argument and order of the evidence.
- Source-linked draft: narration or host lines, examples and references supporting factual claims. Gaps that need the expert’s answer stay visible during review.
- Visual and production notes: suggested demonstrations, graphics, B-roll and screen text, with essential visual evidence identified.
- Review and handoff: revisions against the agreed direction and a script ready for the next production stage. We set the review rounds and approver when scoping the project.

Technology, careers and health.
For Scaler, our work connected source research, a central argument, scripts, visual and production briefs, and packaging across 17 releases. The subjects included software careers and the AI industry.
On Rocket Health’s protein film, we developed the research, script, visual direction and briefs for the host, crew and editor, working with Studio 73 on production.
For a new subject, we agree who checks specialist claims. The expert reviews accuracy and their own position; we work on how the explanation unfolds for the viewer.
One film, or an ongoing slate.
Commission the writing while your team handles the shoot and edit, or discuss a wider production engagement. Rishwajeet leads full-service work with his team at The Breakout Company, which he co-founded. The proposal identifies the team and business delivering the work.
Research depth, access to the expert, intended length, visual complexity and the review process determine the scope. For recurring work, we agree how topics are commissioned and when the host needs each script.
Bring a channel link, the subject you want to cover, a reference video and any existing notes. If there is a shoot date, include it so we can plan backwards from the recording.
Questions about the work.
Can I hire Machine House just for YouTube scriptwriting?
Yes. We can develop the research, outline and script while your existing team records and edits. Visual notes, packaging and wider production can be included in the agreed scope.
Do I need to provide a finished brief?
No. Bring the topic, audience and material you have. We can help develop the premise before drafting. Existing research or a recorded expert conversation gives us a more specific starting point.
How do you keep the script in the creator’s voice?
We use the creator’s existing videos, examples and review feedback to shape the language. Their experiences and opinions need to come from them. The creator reviews the draft before recording.
How much do video scriptwriting services cost?
We scope the work around research depth, length, format, access to the expert and review rounds. Share the subject and production deadline so we can define the deliverables and quote for the work.
Can you also develop titles, thumbnails and Shorts?
Yes. Packaging and short-form adaptations are available alongside the main script. We agree those outputs separately so their research, writing and review time are included.
Will a new script guarantee more views?
No. The premise, packaging, delivery, edit and audience response all affect a release. Our case studies document particular projects; they are not a promise of the same result for another channel.
